Senior Portrait Sessions: What to Expect

Before Your Session

We will have a pre-session consultation to go over outfits and locations for your session. I want you to feel completely prepared so that you can relax and enjoy the experience. I’ll also check in via text or email occasionally as the date approaches. I encourage you to text me your thoughts and send me screenshots of poses and specific looks that you like. I look through current fashion magazines for new, current and trending ideas.

During Your Session

My goal is to capture your style and personality. The most important thing for you to do is just be yourself. Bring one or two family members or friends with you that you are really comfortable with. Have someone you trust, who will make you feel at ease, make you laugh; someone who knows when your hair is out of place.

Once we’re at our location I’ll find spots with great lighting. I’ll show you how to pose but might capture some candid images that aren’t posed. I’ll take a few photos, adjusting my composition and angle, and your pose slightly each time. After a minute or two we’ll find another spot, moving quickly , and changing outfits & poses along the way.

After Your Session

I will go to work on selecting the best of the best images. Each image will be carefully selected and lightly edited for you to view in your personal online gallery. Your gallery will be online within 2 weeks and orders will be due within 30 days. You will be able order from the comfort of your own computer. But no worries, I will be available to help you through the ordering process as much or as little as you need me. I want you to have everything you want and nothing you don’t.
