My First Podcast

You know how passionate I am about small business right? I talk to small business owners about the importance of putting themselves out there.

I know how challenging getting out of your comfort zone is.

When my good friend John asked me to be a guest on the podcast he and his wife Angel have started, my first thought was “no way do I want to put myself out there like that.” It took me a few weeks to realize that I need to walk the walk. This opportunity felt like the perfect way to keep me inching my way outside of that comfort zone of mine.

I have known John for as long as I can remember. He has been in broadcasting since he was a teen and has since won some serious awards with this talent of his. John and Angel made it easy for me, even though I over thought every word out of my mouth.

This experience left me feeling like I have so much more to say and I am hoping I didn’t blow it so bad that they won’t have me back again.

Practice makes perfect, right?
